Faith Promise

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations” - Matthew 28:19

A Faith Promise is just that, a promise made by faith. As individuals & families you pray during the month of February asking God to direct you to a certain amount that He desires you to give to missionary support. This is not regular giving to the church; this is an amount that you have no idea where it is going to come from. You simply have faith that if God tells you an amount that He will provide it. Faith Promise is not a tithe, and the monies are not used for the General Budget of the church. Rather, the Faith Promise is unexpected income – a birthday gift, an insurance premium refund, a larger tax return than expected – the monies can come from a variety of sources, usually unexpected, and are used to support our missionaries who are fulfilling Christ’s command to spread the Good News throughout the world. Your pledge card does not include your name, only the amount you and God have decided upon as your support and is used by the Missions Committee to determine the amount of monetary support we are able to provide in the coming year for our missionaries.
