Lisa Sebastian has been the Youth Pastor at Aldersgate since 1999. Currently she is our Middle School Youth Pastor and the Family Pastor.  She graduated from Asbury College in Wilmore, Ky with a degree in Christian Ministries with an emphasis on Youth Ministry. Lisa was born on a farm in Michigan and lived in Illinois for a short time before moving to Dunedin with her family when she was 11 years old. Lisa's early Christian development was in the Christian Reformed Church. She became a Methodist during her elementary school years. Lisa provides ministry to all youth from 6th grade through 8th grade. Her mission is to assist parents in helping their children strengthen their faith and relationship with Christ and to introduce youth of the community to Christ. Lisa married her high school sweetheart, Nick, in 1999. They have a two sons and a daughter.

Barbara Weatherill - is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, and holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education.  While in college, Barbara served as music intern at United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches.  She also taught elementary general music and 1st grade while in Palm Beach County.  After relocating back to Pinellas, Barbara taught middle school chorus, orchestra, guitar, and reading before becoming part of the Aldersgate staff.  Aldersgate has been Barbara’s church home since 1995.  She and her husband, Andrew, were married at Aldersgate in 2004.  The Weatherills have two daughters, Elise and Lilianne.

Lou Ann Lee has worked with the Aldersgate Christian Learning Center since 1989, and has been the director since 1996. Her family joined Aldersgate 25 years ago. Lou Ann is married to Terry and they have two adult children.   As Director of the Preschool, Lou Ann strives to establish a firm foundation in the lives of the children she comes in contact with, just as she and her husband worked to build that foundation for their own children. The staff of the school is like a family, and shares Jesus with the children and the parents of the children. Everyone is committed to run a good school. Aldersgate Christian Learning Center is considered one of the top preschools in Pinellas County. The school is a member of the United Methodist Association of Preschools (UMAP) and routinely passes inspections from all local boards.   Aldersgate Christian Learning Center has earned their 'Gold Seal' acrediation.  Lou Ann says she feels God has blessed her by placing her in her job. She loves coming to her church to work every day.

Bil Shappell - Bil grew up in the United Methodist faith at his home church in Baltimore, and even played the organ and piano during high school years. He earned an associates degree and diploma from the Worship Arts Conservatory in 2004 and has worked for 20 years as a church music director and contemporary worship leader. Bil’s experience also includes playing keyboards in cover bands and working as a recording studio executive producer and keyboardist. He played in a band that opened for the Thompson Twins in Washington, DC.  Favorite pastimes include international travel to places like Switzerland, Iceland, Italy, Australia and Japan, Aruba, Curacao and Antigua; swimming; white water rafting; walking and weightlifting; reading – favorite books include The Psalms, Ephesians, The Message: Remix by Eugene Peterson, “A Separate Peace” and “The Remains of the Day”

Jason Williams -. Jason is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University.  While in college, Jason served as a youth ministry intern for two years at the church he attended.  In 2008, Jason spent six months as a ministry intern in Australia.  He has been at Aldersgate since June of 2009.  Jason is our Youth and Young Adult Pastor, spending much of his time building relationships with students as well as leading Sunday and Wednesday evening Youth services and small groups.

Connie Carpenter - Connie has been the Children’s Pastor at Aldersgate since June of 2009. She graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. with a B.A. degree in Bible & Theology. After college, Connie moved to Idaho where she was a children’s pastor for 3 years at an Assemblies of God church. She works here at Aldersgate with all children from birth through 5th grade. Her goal is to introduce children to their Savior at a young age and teach them how to live their lives with God as their source for everything.
